ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Welder cum Fabricator for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Combined fabrication and welding role covering marking, cutting, fit-up and welding.
Responsibilities
- Mark, cut and prepare plate and section material from fabrication drawings.
- Carry out fit-up and tacking of structures, supports, tanks and piping spools.
- Weld using the process specified for the job — typically SMAW/arc, MIG or TIG as applicable.
- Fabricate and install supports, platforms, guards and structural modifications on site.
- Check dimensions and squareness of completed assemblies against the drawing.
- Work under hot-work permits with correct fire watch and PPE.
Requirements
- ITI (Welder or Fitter) or equivalent trade certification.
- Solid experience combining fabrication layout with welding.
- Able to read and work independently from fabrication drawings.
- Competent with gas cutting, grinding and standard fabrication tools.
- Able to pass a practical welder qualification test.
Education
ITI (Welder / Fitter) or equivalent trade certification
