ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Welding Cleaner for industrial plant operations at Tiruvallur, Tamil Nadu. Post-weld cleaning, grinding and finishing of fabricated assemblies. Freshers welcome.
Responsibilities
- Remove slag, spatter and scale from completed welds using chipping hammers, wire brushes and grinders.
- Grind and dress welds to the finish specified on the drawing.
- Clean and degrease finished assemblies before inspection or coating.
- Keep grinding consumables, guards and extraction equipment in serviceable condition.
- Segregate scrap and maintain housekeeping standards in the fabrication bay.
- Comply with PPE requirements for grinding — face shield, gloves, ear and respiratory protection.
Requirements
- No formal qualification required; freshers are welcome.
- Physically fit for sustained grinding and cleaning work.
- Willing to work with full PPE in a dusty, noisy environment.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work shifts.
- Basic understanding of workshop safety.
