Mechanical Technician — Hosur

ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Mechanical Technician for industrial plant operations at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Preventive and breakdown maintenance of production and utility machinery at an industrial plant.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance on pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors and production machinery as per the site PM schedule.
• Attend breakdown calls, diagnose mechanical faults and restore equipment to running condition within the agreed response time.
• Dismantle, inspect, replace and reassemble bearings, seals, couplings, belts, chains and other wear parts.
• Carry out alignment, levelling and basic vibration checks after every major intervention.
• Record all work in the maintenance log or CMMS, including spares consumed and downtime hours.
• Follow permit-to-work, lockout-tagout and confined-space procedures without exception.

Requirements

• ITI (Fitter/Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing, process or utility plant environment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and use precision measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, dial gauge).
• Willing to work in a rotating shift pattern.
• Safety-conscious; comfortable with LOTO and height/confined-space work permits.

Education

ITI (Fitter / Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
