Paint Shop Painter — Hosur

ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Paint Shop Painter for industrial plant operations at Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Surface preparation and industrial paint application in a production paint shop.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by degreasing, abrasive blasting, sanding and masking before coating.
• Apply primer, intermediate and finish coats by spray gun to the specified dry film thickness.
• Check DFT, gloss and finish quality; rectify runs, sags and orange-peel defects.
• Operate and clean spray equipment, booths and filters; manage paint mixing ratios and pot life.
• Handle solvents and coatings per the site chemical-safety rules and wear the prescribed PPE.
• Record batch, coating system and consumption details for each job.

Requirements

• ITI (Painter) or demonstrable industrial painting experience.
• Skilled with conventional and airless spray equipment.
• Understanding of surface-preparation standards and paint systems.
• Awareness of solvent handling, ventilation and respiratory PPE requirements.
• Willing to work in shifts in a paint-booth environment.

Education

ITI (Painter) or equivalent trade experience
