Technician - Mechanical — Jamnagar

ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Technician - Mechanical for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Hands-on mechanical maintenance of rotating and static plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps, blowers, agitators, gearboxes and valves.
• Overhaul rotating equipment — replace bearings, mechanical seals, couplings and wear rings.
• Assist with alignment, piping modification and static equipment work during shutdowns.
• Use hand tools, power tools and lifting tackle safely and correctly.
• Complete job cards and record spares consumption and equipment history.
• Comply with permit-to-work, LOTO and confined-space entry requirements.

Requirements

• ITI (Fitter/Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on maintenance experience in a process or manufacturing plant.
• Competent with bearing and mechanical-seal replacement and shaft alignment.
• Able to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs at a basic level.
• Willing to work shifts and support shutdown campaigns.

Education

ITI (Fitter/Mechanical) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
