Rigger — Jamnagar

ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Rigger for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Safe rigging and lifting of heavy loads during maintenance, erection and relocation work.

Responsibilities

• Select, inspect and use slings, shackles, chain blocks and lifting tackle for each lift.
• Rig and guide loads during equipment removal, installation and plant relocation work.
• Work to approved lifting plans and give clear signals to crane and hoist operators.
• Inspect lifting gear before use and quarantine any defective equipment.
• Set up barricades and exclusion zones around lifting operations.
• Comply with lifting permits and site height-work requirements.

Requirements

• ITI or a recognised rigging / lifting certification.
• Experience rigging heavy loads in an industrial or construction environment.
• Sound knowledge of sling angles, load charts and lifting-gear inspection.
• Medically fit for work at height.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.
