ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Boiler Operator (1st Class) for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Operation of high-pressure IBR boilers under a valid 1st Class competency certificate.
Responsibilities
- Operate and control IBR boilers within the pressure and capacity limits of a 1st Class certificate.
- Carry out cold start-up, normal shutdown and emergency shutdown of the boiler as per the operating manual.
- Monitor drum level, steam pressure, feed-water quality, combustion and flue-gas parameters throughout the shift.
- Perform routine blowdown, safety-valve checks, mountings inspection and water-treatment dosing.
- Maintain statutory boiler logs and support Boiler Inspectorate inspections and certificate renewals.
- Respond to boiler trips and abnormal conditions and escalate per the site emergency procedure.
Requirements
- Valid 1st Class Boiler Attendant / BOE competency certificate under the Indian Boilers Act.
- Substantial experience operating high-pressure industrial boilers.
- Sound understanding of combustion control, feed-water treatment and boiler safety devices.
- Willing to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
- Certificate must be current and valid for the state of posting or transferable.
Education
1st Class Boiler Attendant / Boiler Operation Engineer certificate under the Indian Boilers Act
