ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Boiler Operator (2nd Class) for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Operation of IBR boilers under a valid 2nd Class boiler attendant certificate.
Responsibilities
- Operate IBR boilers within the limits permitted by a 2nd Class boiler attendant certificate.
- Carry out start-up, shutdown and routine operation under the direction of the shift incharge.
- Monitor and log drum level, steam pressure, feed-water parameters and flue-gas readings.
- Perform blowdown, mountings checks and routine boiler-house housekeeping.
- Assist with water-treatment dosing and daily chemical testing.
- Report abnormalities promptly and follow the emergency shutdown procedure when required.
Requirements
- Valid 2nd Class Boiler Attendant certificate under the Indian Boilers Act.
- Experience operating industrial boilers in a process or utility plant.
- Understanding of boiler mountings, safety valves and water-level controls.
- Willing to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
- Certificate must be current and valid for the state of posting or transferable.
