ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Utility Operator for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Round-the-clock operation of compressed air, cooling water, water treatment and allied utility systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate air compressors, dryers, cooling towers, pumps and water-treatment equipment through the shift.
- Take hourly readings of pressure, temperature, flow and level, and log deviations.
- Carry out routine checks — belt tension, oil level, strainer cleaning, blowdown — as per the operating checklist.
- Dose and monitor cooling-water and boiler-water chemicals under supervision.
- Assist the maintenance team during utility equipment shutdowns and overhauls.
- Hand over the shift with a clear written log of plant status and pending jobs.
Requirements
- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience operating utility equipment in a process or manufacturing plant.
- Comfortable reading gauges, logging parameters and following operating checklists.
- Willing to work rotating 24/7 shifts.
- Basic understanding of water treatment chemistry is an advantage.
