ISOCHEN SAFETY PVT LTD is hiring a Shift Incharge (Utility) for industrial plant operations at Jamnagar, Gujarat. Shift-level accountability for the utility block — boilers, compressors, cooling and water treatment.
Responsibilities
- Take charge of the utility block for the full shift and hand over formally to the incoming incharge.
- Supervise boiler, compressor, cooling-tower, chiller and water-treatment operations and the operators running them.
- Monitor steam, air, water and power parameters; take corrective action on any deviation.
- Authorise and control permits for work carried out in the utility area during the shift.
- Respond to utility trips and emergencies, and escalate per the site emergency plan.
- Complete shift logs, consumption records and statutory registers accurately.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Substantial utility operations experience with shift-supervision responsibility.
- Working knowledge of boilers, compressors, cooling systems and water treatment.
- Boiler competency certificate is a strong advantage.
- Prepared to work rotating 24/7 shifts including nights.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering; boiler competency certificate an advantage
